Re: New Sig about to hit the market... P290 a pocket 9mm..
After a lot of research, my first handgun was a Sig P226. My second handgun (CCW) was also a Sig. I was excited when I heard about the P290, but they raised the MSRP which disappointed me, and then some hands-on reviews disappointed me. I was hesitant about not getting a Sig for my pocket carry, bu...

Re: New Sig about to hit the market... P290 a pocket 9mm..
One more thing...the backstrap of the P290 is very rough...big pebble sandpaper like! The finish is good for grip, but after about 100 rounds, it makes a nice deep imprint into your palm...with much discomfort. The frontstrap is of the same sandpaper finish (see first pic below), but this does not b...

Re: New Sig about to hit the market... P290 a pocket 9mm..
I always figured the high price of the Kahrs and a few others were to cover warranty expenses, because they just KNOW the warranty issues will be greater in a pocket nine. Sorry to rehash this old thread, but this statement seems to ring true. I sent back my Sig P290 twice...first time due to manuf...

Re: Sig P229 Ammo
To be honest, i would send it back to Sig for them to check it out. Call them up and they should give you info on how to send it back. I would not be so fast to blame your ammo. Send the gun and magazine (that caused the trouble) back to Sig. I sent back my Sig P290 twice...first time due to manufac...

Re: Winchester 9mm white box quality
Not sure, but i do know that they dirty up my gun quite a bit after range time. But, damn it, Walmart sure sells them cheap!
In addition, recently, at a walmart near my house, they are now selling Winchester PDX-1 124 gr +P for just under $20 (for box of 20)...not bad price!

Question Regarding Privately-Owned Hospital Carry
Hey all, I work in a hospital. The hospital is a PRIVATELY owned community hospital. There is no 30.06 sign anywhere. I have CHL. Can i carry in THIS hospital? I understand that, from CHL class, this is not recommended, but i was unclear whether this only applies to public hospital only or to all. T...

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
does the P90 come with night sites already installed from the factory? great looking Sigs, by the way. love the first edition. Yup, standard. The only option is whether you want the laser or not...of course, you can get black or silver. For me, i have no love for lasers and think that it is a waste...

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
I took a look at the P290 before buying a used Kahr PM9. The Sig is a nice little pistol, but I was looking for something truly pocketable and bought the Kahr instead. My carry rotation includes full-sized, compact, and sub-compact semi-autos, and J-Frame revolvers, but nothing so far has disappear...
