Sigh.

I heard a good saying this week: "Remember: When you decide to vote for the lesser of two evils, you're still voting for evil."
The lesser of 3 evils. If you do not vote you are giving a vote for Obama and he will win. So my vote goes to Romney since I
believe he is the only Republican that can beat Obama. If Obama makes it another 4 years this country wil certainly be lost.

So, I hope that everyone goes out and votes.

Re: I'm calling it: Gingrich/Rice in 2012

I guess you are right!! I am wrong!! I am not part of the WWII generation and Soc Sec and Medicare are not entitlements even though that
is how they are spoken of today.

If any seniors fall for that take away SS or Medicare than they should not be voting.

Bt you have to admit that the US has been going more and more left with each passing year. It will not take much
more before the US will be a Socialist Society. Who is driving that veer to the far left? It is not the older generation
in fact, our generation does not have as much effect on our government as the younger ones.

Hopefully there is enough of you guys left to keep this govt/country from going into a total free fall.

Re: I'm calling it: Gingrich/Rice in 2012

Of course I will vote and I will escort my wife there too!! the problem as I see it is that
the electorate in this country is basically stupid!! They will fall for Obama's giveaway rhetoric.
Much better to receive than to go to work. they will go to the polls in droves to continue
receiving what Obama has promised them.

Then there is the present generation of voters, part of the Gimmee Generation. You heard of the Greatest Generation,
well they were replaced by the Vietnam Generation and finally we have the Gimmee Generation. Obama is preaching to them
and they will go to the polls and vote him in again. My only hope is that the Gimmee Generation will be too lazy to vote twice
in 4 years. Hopefully they will stay home.

Obama is demonizing Wall Street again and even harder now. Why? He has found that this class Warfare of his is resonating
with the Gimmee Generation. They are now occupying Wall Street, NYC and many other places because it is much easier to occupy
those places that it is to work there. After all many are receiving their never ending unemployment checks.

Obama has put into place too many freebees for these people to ignore.

Problem is that if he is voted in for another 4 both time and money will finally run out and it will once again be Bush's fault!!

I totally agree it is Obama for 4 more years unless a miracle happens. the Reps are too busy
destroying themselves while Obama is destroying the country.

If this means Ron Paul must man up and step aside, so be it. We'll see Ron Paul's true colors as well as those of the other contenders after the Florida CJ. Enough is enough!
That is exactly what I have been thinking. The worst thing that can happen is Ron Paul running as an independent, libertarian or whatever.
With all this infighting we are giving Obama ammunition for next Oct. right before the election.

I expect Gingrich to win the debate tonight but I am uneasy with him getting the nomination. Like it or not the best out of the 4 remaining to beat Obama is Romney.
That is my opinion!! I saw on the news today that Mitch Daniels is thinking about jumping in the race. That is what we need another unknown.

Like I said earlier Obama will win a second term, I hate to think it but we will see. Hope I am wrong!!

It took hundreds of years for the Roman Empire to fall after it rotted from within. I can smell it now!!

Re: I'm calling it: Gingrich/Rice in 2012

I do not think it was McCain's time and that is why the Republicans put him up. I think he was a good choice.
He ran a really stupid campaign.

I will say it was Obama's turn!! When he gave the keynote speech in the Dem. convention a few years
before his oratory skills did create a stir. I heard many say then that he would be the first Black Prez. back
then.

As luck would have it he ran in 2008 and won. Why did he win? His oratory skills coupled with his promises.
Promises to change America, promises to give people this and that. Now that resonated very well with the
"Gimme Generation". He mobilized the youth vote [most of ho never read the papers or watched the news],
my adult kids as an example. He won about 93% of the Black vote. He won the Hispanic vote. So now we have
him in there destroying the country, as he promised to do. "I will fundamentally change America". He has and
will finish the job when he gets re-elected. The Republicans are cutting each other to ribbons and the Dems are laughing.

Who will the reps put out there? Ron Paul may win Texas but not much of anything else. I hope he does not run
as a third party candidate. That will surely spell doom!! How about rick Perry? At first he sounded good but went
downhill fast. How about Gingrich? Probably the smartest individual this country has in politics but he scares the hell
out of many voters and wil never be elected. Who is left, Romney?

Obama wins a second term!!

Re: I'm calling it: Gingrich/Rice in 2012

No matter what happens now an Obama re-election is certain.

The Republicans have been so busy beating each other up they forgot about
attacking Obama. Yes, they could be using their own campaigns to attack all of Obama's failed policies
and offering a solution to them. Instead of attacking each other with nonsense.

I think Obama has his 2nd term in the bag.
