Re: Parking Lot Bill and sites on the Ship Channel
As an American citizen, I'm ashamed there are people in government "service" who can't understand plain English, or who intentionally ignore the plain English that limits legitimate government powers.

Re: Emergency Session
If there's time for all that, there's more than enough time to save innocent lives by passing campus carry.

Re: question from a felon
this felon is someone id trust with my life. this person being a felon is irrelevant to me personally. my question is the legality of a felon using a gun to defend his and/or my life. This person being someone you would trust with your life is irrelevant to the legality of a felon possessing a fire...

The pigeon is like the US taxpayer and the crow is like the government eating our nest egg through deficit spending.

Re: Need to pick yalls brains
I wouldn't sign a fake bill of sale but I also wouldn't respond to the lawyer. If my friend wants the gun back, I would return it. If a court of competent jurisdiction orders me to turn over the gun to someone, I would comply. Nobody else merits a response in word, much less in deed.

Re: Parking Lot Bill and sites on the Ship Channel
I write this simply to hopefully prevent some reader from getting in federal trouble by reading your post as saying they might be OK bringing a firearm into a waterfront security area parking lot contrary to rules of the Coast Guard. If I were the Captain of the Port of Houston I would have to roll...

On the other hand, considering what's on the agenda, if he doesn't add campus carry, why should American gun owners vote for him?

I'm sure during prohibition people said the same things some here are saying. Marijuana is no more harmful and probably less harmful than alcohol. Being shot with a 30-30 is no more harmful and probably less harmful than being shot with a 30-06. If marijuana does affect mental state, then the Orego...

I used to be an NRA member but until they start supporting EBRs as much as they do the others, I'll consider them Fudd Central and won't renew - or should I just be blissfully happy that I'm paying someone to throw some of my interests under the bus all the time? Yes, Exemplarily Baked Redveletcake...

Re: Drug Test for Welfare
Interesting, Now many of you are all for drug testing, how many of you demand every Gov't employee get a drug test also including the ones we vote into office. If they are not willing to take one then nobody in the US should be required to take one for any reason even private employment. Private em...

Re: Dismembered bodies found buried in East Texas
A law enforcement source confirmed that a mass grave with 'a lot of bodies' was found on the property near the intersection of County Roads 2048 and 2049. Some of them are children, according to the source. Liberty County Sheriff's Captain Rex Evans says there's no bodies found on the property. Who...

Re: question from a felon
If your life is really in danger, the legal question is secondary. If you don't survive, you don't have to worry about it at all.
