Of course we can all live with the price increase. It is just percentage wise a large increase. I was half way joking about loading my own but after seeing the numbers, it might be worth it.
I already have two RCBS presses, a tumbler, a good assortment of rifle and pistol dies including 9mm (not carbide), two scales(non-electronic), dial calipers, an asst of case gauges , etc...well I think everything I need. I just never set anything up. But based on AggieMM"s #'s It looks I can load for around $4.00 per box..of 50... for a savings of about $1.86/box. ( I already have a good amount of 9mm brass) and as has been said it might be relaxing to boot. It would take something like 1 round to start saving money.
Since the price was $4.86 a box I would only have saved 86 cents, but now $1.86. Sounds like it might be worth more study.
So lets try this again. A price increase.....
Who am i kidding I'll just keep buying it from academy. Looking forward to that loading seminar though.
