The P229's are definately worth the price. I had one that I was planning on transitioning to from a P239. It is a two tone w/night sights. The main reason I was planning on switching is that it holds 12+1 .357sig.

However, my wife liked it so much she took it from me :shock: and is now her carry gun! So I still carry the p239.

The P229 is no doubt a top quality gun. It is however a bit bulky and heavy. Many folks carry it regularly though. It is also availabe with a DAK trigger, and an anti-snag version for cc.

It's a very good choice.
