Re: Egyptian Terrorists Attack US on 9/11

We need to know WHY the president and secretary of state were willing to let our people die like they did. I have a strong gut feeling they wanted certain information to die with those that were sacrificed. What that information is is the key to understanding this tragic ordeal that the president said was "less than optimal".

Maybe more people will sober up to what is going on. He is a liar and will do or say anything to get re-elected. Even tell government contractors to to break federal law and not notify workers of planned/pending layoffs until after the election.

Re: Egyptian Terrorists Attack US on 9/11

It's not "shrugged off", even though it should be, because it is part of their doctrine. Here is an article discussing an Iranian convert's perspective and why he fears for his life.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/09/18/ir ... es_in_fear

An Iranian man recently granted asylum in the U.S. after converting from Islam to Christianity told FoxNews.com he still fears the long arm of the rogue regime in Tehran.

The man, whose name is being withheld, said he fears hardline Muslims could come after him, even in the U.S. The regime in Tehran has recently vowed to "hunt down" the makers of an anti-Islam film trailer and has upped the price on novelist Salman Rushdie's head for offending the religion. Because apostasy - renouncing Islam - is punishable by death, the man told FoxNews.com he lives in fear.

"If I want to go to a Christian church in Iran the secret police will recognize and arrest me since they will check my background and know that I was a Muslim."

- Iranian Christian convert who recently won asylum

"I feel if I reveal that I converted to Christianity, the Muslims here may retaliate against me," the man, who is in his early thirties, said in an exclusive interview. "In many verses in the Koran, Muslims are told to kill, behead, cut fingers, or severely arrest and tie the kafirs," or nonbelievers.

Re: Egyptian Terrorists Attack US on 9/11

Where in the New Testament of the Bible does it call for violence, stoning or killing of non-Christians? I don't think you can cite anything that calls for such. As evidenced here, Muslims point to the Old Testament of the Bible to make their point. They are either ignorant of or chose to ignore the New Testament that is based upon the coming, crucifixion and subsequent rising of Jesus.

http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Quran ... olence.htm

Because of the coming, crucifixion and subsequent rising of Jesus, there is a new covenant with God that affords Grace to Christians and supercedes the Old Testament doctrines calling for the harsh and violent treatment of those that violate the laws of the Old Testament of the Bible.

In the quran, there appears to be numerous calls for muslims to be violent, kill and go to war with non-muslims and Christians (infidels). In the quran, is there anything similar to the New Testament that offsets the calls of violence, killing or suppression of non-muslims as cited in this link?

http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/Quran ... olence.htm

Bottom line, the muslim quran supports what the muslim terrorists are doing and the so called "extremist" are able to point to the quran to justify what they call a "holy war" but in reality, is a political war as they want to kill or suppress any non-believers and rule the lands of the non-muslims. Muslims that claim to be non-extremist peaceful muslims are either ignorant of their quran or choosing to disobey the commands of the quran.

The nutjobs and crazies that are comitting violent acts in the name of Christianity have no solid New Testament Biblical basis that supports their beliefs and acts. They too are either ignorant or chosing to disobey the New Testament whish is the New Covenant with God as a result of Jesus' coming, crucifixion and subsequent rising.
