Re: The Kangaroocarry Holster....Whats your thoughts.

I bought an Air Marshall II a couple weeks ago. The owner was at a San Antonio gun show. He fitted me
and showed me how to wear it. Now this was with a plastic 5" 1911. I put it on and stuffed my 4" 1911
stainless steel Springfield Champion into the holster. Pistol fits in the pocket well. However, on my body
I encountered the following problems:

1) The material is rough and chafes
2) The beavertail is above the backing fabric and pinched my side.
3) The butt prints to the front unless the holster is all the way under my arm
4) When in a non-printing position, I cannot draw through a polo shirt even in 2X
5) Forget a t-shirt in any way. Except under the holster.
6) A stainless steel 1911 causes a lot of shift in the holster. Needs a tupperware pistol.

If you are a fairly fit person without a waist and wear an oversized shirt such as the owner, I believe the holster will work. It may also
work on ladies who have a natural "area" that will help break up the outline. For me it was a waste of cash. So, I have an Air Marshall II
in left hand size large. Size is for 37-43 inches in the chest area.If anyone wants to try it, let me know and if you are local we can meet up.
