I carry a Kahr PM40 or the Kahr P40 IWB, depending on my mood.The PM40 is most comfortable and carries 7 rds with the extended mag. Separately, I have a Taurus PT145 in the console of my car.

Definitely go with the Ruger. I had a PT709 for about a year and after less than 100 rounds the FTF's and FTE's started. As mentioned above the trigger is terrible. I thought my Kel Tec trigger was long but I really appreciate it more after the Taurus. I've read on other forums where the 709's frame...

I don't think I've missed a Rodeo Show since they started. It has grown some but the venue is limited. It is sad the Big Town show has deteriorated so much. Market Hall is the best of all. The original Ft. Worth show is great too but they have terrible parking and make you pay for it as well.
