That's the point. The bad guys don't care about context. They are looking for a pretext to harm those of us who believe in the Second Amendment.

I understood that, but the specific quote I was referencing said :
"I don't charge tax and I don't pay tax."

Maybe it's just me, but I'll bet there are some gun-unfriendly federal folks who watch sites like this, trying to pounce upon anything they can to make us all look bad. When someone says "I don't pay tax", I can see some fed taking that to mean ANY tax.

Uuuhhh, guys, I know I'm new here, but may I offer a bit of advice about how you word your posts?
When you say that you don't pay taxes, I assume that you mean you don't send any sales tax to the state for your class fees. Right?
It could almost sound like you're saying that you don't pay ANY taxes (including federal income tax on what you make), and we all know that would be against the law.
I KNOW that's not what anyone here meant, but can you see where prying eyes might take it that way?
If anyone thinks that this suggestion is off base, please forgive me in advance.
