Re: Chl in Church
Thanks for the responses. I am looking for stats or numbers that show the benefits on CHL's in the congregation.

Re: Chl in Church
As a response to the recent shootings in CA and a scare from a homeless person our pastor today brought up an idea about posting the church for no weapons. My wife responded she should first speak to me about it. I am looking for ideas here to help in the conversation we will have.

Re: Anyone do Cowboy Action Shooting ?
Costumes can set you back a pretty penny but most start with a pair of boots, jeans, a pearl button shirt, and a cowboy hat. What gets expensive is when the wife decides she wants to participate in the fun and needs her own rig. I would start out with the essentials and expand as you like. We are up...

Re: Anyone do Cowboy Action Shooting ?
Do you have to shoot rifles, shotguns, and single action revolvers, just one alone or all combined ? I really like classic style shotguns and lever rifles, but not single action revolvers. A cowboy match usually has several stages (scenarios) that involve the use of your weapons. A standard stage m...

Re: Pulled the trigger on a P938
Both the 238 and 938 have a safety on the left side and going into a right handers holster would be in effect the same. The width of the slide is somewhere around a 1/4 inch wider on the 938 and kept it from fitting into a molded holster. The grip width was not a factor to holster fit. 1.093 inch at...

Re: Pulled the trigger on a P938
There is a 238HD that has a wider slide but I do hot have one to compare. The safety is on the left and was not the problem. The wife is a lefty and like the ambi safety. She also likes the extended mag.

Re: Pulled the trigger on a P938
Great looking holster but you might want to make sure they are using a 938 for molding the holster. The guys I talked to said it was to tight to try and stretch out. the listed width is probably the grip width but it is slide width that keeps them incompatible. Great little pistol and as such my wif...

Re: Pulled the trigger on a P938
7/8ths on slide near ejection port. Tried in two different 238 holsters at a gun show with no success.

Re: Pulled the trigger on a P938
Tried it in a 238 holster and did not fit. Calipers say its 7/8ths of inch wide.

Re: Pulled the trigger on a P938
Dimension wise it is wider than the 238. The mini-tuk should work well. I have a pjholster for mine and they work great. The usual Remora can hide it in a pocket(ymmv). As for ammo you may want to shoot 124 Nato to loosen it up. Mine has been a little picky but is getting better.

Should come apart similarly to a 1911. Found some small parts for one at Numrich. Also a schematic.

Re: Forgot My Phone
Thanks for the ideas. I have become more aware of what goes in the pockets and don't leave the house without being prepared.
