My EDC is a Walther PPS in 9mm. 8+1 of German precision shooting. Fits well into a Comp-Tac MTAC IWB holster. (I also mount a Viridian C5L Light/laser on the pistol - then I use a White Hat Max Tuck IWB holster that's customized for the combo).What you might do right offhand is visit a range with a large number of rental guns that you can try out to see which one fits your hand, and shoots well with you in the cockpit! If you're on the north side of IH-30, may I suggest Shoot Smart on IH-35W in far north Fort Worth (Golden Triangle Blvd @ IH-35W on the west service road). They've got a pretty extensive set of guns you can try, and some experienced people as RSOs that'll help you out if you need it. There's also Alpine Shooting range in far south Fort Worth (Anglin Road just east of Everman), Elk Castle on the west side, and Winchester Gallery, at Lancaster / E Loop 820 - a shooting range in all four quadrants of the city!
