Aguilla bullets

Aguilla "High Power" or IQ bullets are actually an alloy called "ZAMAC 5" not aluminum. Zamac is a series of alloys based on Zinc and Manganese.

I did a lot of the original research on this ammo, mostly in the now discontinued 45 acp and found it to be very good, quite accurate and devastating on impact... as you would expect from a 117 grain hollow point bullet at 1,400 fps.

The first few thousand rounds were jacketed ZAMAC 5 and that was just silly so I got them to forget the jackets and just use the alloy bullets alone. It worked just fine.

I still have the original box with a computer printed label glued onto the box... it should be a great collector item some day... and about a dozen of the original jacketed bullets.
