JeepGuy79 wrote:any idea if one will fit in a 238 holster? How much was that leather you got? it looks amazing.

If it has the crazy trigger pull the 238's do and you want to drop it on the cheap take out the mainspring and bend the trigger portion of the spring straight. Little polishing the trigger/sear/hammer area gets it pretty clean.
I'm told it fits the cheaper 238 holsters, but the custom one's have less tolerance so the added width of the grip won't fit. The rgrizzle set me back about $135 after shipping, but it fits like butter (if that had any metaphorical meaning). My weakside mag holster is on its way, and I'll photo that when it comes.

I'm satisfied with the trigger pull, it lets me know I'm actually pulling it. I love my SRT on the big Sigs, but for carry peace of mind its nice to have some more pounds of pull involved.

JeepGuy79 wrote:how is it running now? I really want one, but no headaches.
My shot groups are getting much better, all within the 4-block squares, as expected. The gun is no longer the 'light' gun that it was on day one. I am much more comfortable with the weight/trigger pull ratio. I've been feeding it WWB and Federal Hydroshock and haven't had a FTF/FTE since replacing the magazine (which Sig did for free in two days!). I'm trying to get Ryan to make me a matching magazine holster. We'll see...

If anyone wants to see the holster or needs more pics, just let me know. It was well worth the wait and definitely worth the price.

Re: Pulled the trigger on a P938

My RGrizzle came today...wearing it now and I can't even feel its there. For comparison sake, its about the size of a checkbook with a gun sticking out! This guy is a freakin' genius!

Re: Pulled the trigger on a P938

First day at the range, took it easy, put 100 rounds of WWB and 20 rounds of Federal HydroShock.

Trigger was as expected, not as sensitive as a 1911, but after about 5 magazines I got used to the pull. I'd recommend to anyone to invest in the extended mag, I have small hands and it just felt better than having the pinky wrapped around the bottom.

Second magazine had a FTFeed, so I took it out and noticed the inner spring is 'spent' and caught on the magazine itself, so its going back to Sig for a replacement. I don't want it anyway, and I'm gonna try to sweet talk Sig into an extended replacement.

My left hand took no time getting used to the safety on the thumb side, although I'm still using my trigger finger on the slide release, so that feels normal (for a lefty anyway).

I've found my new everyday carry, but since I still have 9 weeks to wait for my custom rgrizzle, I'll get more range time in!!!

This was after about 50 rounds in, about 12 meters. I was aiming at center mass and up one square.

elpjt wrote:Great looking holster but you might want to make sure they are using a 938 for molding the holster. The guys I talked to said it was to tight to try and stretch out. the listed width is probably the grip width but it is slide width that keeps them incompatible. Great little pistol and as such my wife is eyeing it, so be warned. :biggrinjester:
Ryan (Mr. Grizzle) has a 938 plastic in his possession. Problem is, he advertised that fact on SigForum and sales exploded. Thats why I've got to wait 10 weeks! His work is second to none, I highly recommend him for custom work or just fine high end holsters.

Re: Pulled the trigger on a P938

Ok, so I ordered one just like this last night from "Holsters by RGrizzle". It was too beautiful to pass up, but a 10 week waiting period will pass slowly!

The P938 shipped today and apparently they've got lots at that price. It was an added bonus that they picked up 2-day UPS as well, so I'll have it on Friday or Saturday.

To answer a couple of questions, I use Bass Pro Shop's annual membership, I live right by it and its inexpensive. Its air conditioned and lets face it, who doesn't like wandering aimlessly around Bass Pro?

Anyway, http://gunbuyer.com/ has the P938 in stock for $639 shipped free.

First range report on Saturday or Sunday!

Pulled the trigger on a P938

I'm on gunbroker and this guy has a buy it now for a P938 Nightmare for $639 shipped free, so I click on his website and he also has the Extreme for $639 shipped free. How could I possibly say no??? Even with the FFL and my gas to get to him, I've got enough left for 4 boxes of WWB and a box of Federal Hydros before its even close to Academy's price!!!

So, basically, besides being excited about my new purchase, does anyone have one and what holster works best for you? I've had good luck with Crossbreed IWB but have never tried their minituck. Any help appreciated.

I may also have to reduce the size of my inventory soon, if anyone is interested in a P290 laser it may need to go to make room!

ps...yes, I'll post pics and a full range report!
