Re: A Cautionary Tale about brass sorting

Anyone use one of these brass sorters? Does it work? More importantly does the add on .380 separator work? http://www.midwayusa.com/Find?userSearchQuery=Brass+sorter+" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I think I will pick up one of these. I don't currently load .40 or .45 but ...

Re: Email the BATFE, have your email address published

I have a second email address to do stuff like this with. I got it not long ago, after I made some comments (intelligent and well thought out ones) about gun control on a major website, Yahoo, I think, using the email address I have had for over 10 years and got death threats from the tolerant left.

Re: Case lube and stuck cases - darnit

I bought a tub of that Unique lube years ago. It got misplaced. I found it again recently and it is solid now. Is there something I can add or do to get it back into a useable state? I guess I am lucky that I have never had a stuck case, but I guess I am due for one after all these years. I came clo...

Re: Old Eyes and Old Guns

Excellent shooting. I hope I can do that well the next time I go out. One of my eyes is 58 years old. The other is probably that old, too, but it's in denial. I've been slacking a bit, and now there is 6" of snow on the ground. If there is too much snow, I can't get up the hill to the range eve...

Re: Concealed Granny

Way to go, granny. I wish my wife was more interested. We got permits at the same time, but she has cooled tremendously about shooting, and has never carried.

I don't know how to get her interested again. She won't even tell me why, I should just "know". :confused5

Re: Obama to push recreation shooter off BLM land

I find this an extremely disturbing trend. To say that long established forms of recreation like shooting, are banned on BLM land is outrageous. We have lots of BLM land in Utah. I hope they don't try it here. This needs to be stopped. I'll bet that the amount of urbanites who freak out is very smal...

Re: Angry Parent At Jr High Football Game

My two youngest kids played soccer for about 6 years each. I saw upset parents some of the time, but never experienced something like you describe. One of my kids coaches was kicked out by an ump for being too vocal about her calls. They were very bad and obviously biased in favor of the other team....

Of the states I will probably never visit, New Jersey is top of the list. NY and Illinois are on the list, but they have some sights I would like to see. I can't think of any in NJ, though.

Re: Old Faithful holster kit?

Where do I get the instructions for the TRS-80 holster? I can make you a TRS-80 holster, but you'll need someone else to make the belt needed to hold it up. It needs to be at least 4 layers thick and 6 inches wide. I've been thinking of getting one of those kits myself and giving kydex a try.

Re: Hollow Points, the new "cop killer" bullets?

Those statements are the most ignorant things I have heard in a very long while. How does someone so stupid keep getting elected?

Is it possible that these women are the smartest people in their district, and so rightfully hold a position of prestige?

Re: TSA: coming to a roadway near you

This isn't going to stop at Tennesee. I have no doubt there are plans in place to expand this nationally. I'm not sure this can be stopped, but as long as progressives and communists continue to run roughshod over us, things will only get worse.

Re: Felony to Steal an Aluminum Can — or a Penny — in Texas

If someone tries to steal any metal from me, I'll be happy to supply them with some. They may not like the delivery method though. I like that. Metal thieves are a huge problem in rural areas. There had been a bent up piece of aluminum pipe, about 30 feet long, sitting by the ditch 100 feet from my...

Re: Paypal's firearm policy

I wasn't aware of their firearm policy. I use it to accept payment for holsters and haven't had a problem. They take a cut, so I prefer cash or check, but then there are problems with that as well. Cash can't safely be mailed and checks can bounce, although none have yet. There aren't many alternati...

Re: Despite appearances, world is safer?

I feel so much better knowing that the world is safer now. In fact, I think I will take a road trip and walk around in some major cities after dark. There should be no problem whatsoever. I'll start with Los Angeles and move east. After I have safely visited a dozen major US cities, I'll head to the...

Re: Pics of your reloading area

Here's mine, now in a spare bedroom instead of the garage. The new bench is a much better setup. I'm going to expand and get a turret press as soon as I get enough money. It isn't this neat at the present moment. I've had the press, scale and powder measure since 1974. http://www.frontiernet.net/~bl...
