When we were doing a lot of Utah classes, Utah suggested we put lesson plan and law book on CD's. (They are big on not wasting paper up there.) I looked into it, but a CD duplicator is much more expensive than a printer for paper. And, it's hard to highlight stuff in a CD. So, we are still printing...

I use to pay for printing... now I put everything on CD (CHL-16 and other handouts) and pass them out in class. Cost about 25 cents each.

I do have hard copies if someone objects to electronic media. So far know one has asked for paper.

Just a thought.

Everyone teaching the same info is not a bad idea. Each of the last four renewals I've done has said they learned more from my renewal than their original 10 hour class. Not sure where or whom they took it from but if we're all teaching the same info from the same source (Powerpoint or handouts) the...

I like Marksman Indoor Range because they will allow a CHL instructor to qualify students. Most ranges around Houston I've checked with do not. Thanks for sharing. It's a great story to share in my CHL classes. You are very lucky they didn't shut down the airport and have you arrested, strip searched and water boarded.
