I've taught him to respect and use firearms since he was small. starting out with bb guns, pellet guns and 22s. He's handled shotguns a rifles and is a pretty good shot. It's a scary question because I don't want to get either one of us in trouble. I looked at texas laws and thought he could have a handgun, but wanted to check the consensus here - there seems to be a lot of knowledgeable on this site.
