That video is like so annoying.WildBill wrote:The Kardashians didn't invent using "like" in every other sentence. They use those words too darn much. Ive heard these words being used constantly by young women at Wal-Mart. Extremely annoying.
Didn't the song "Valley Girl" address this issue?

Re: Word use that drives you up the wall!
It's intentionally misspelled. Here is my "capeesh" story.WildBill wrote:Javier730 wrote:"Capeesh?"
A few years ago, while working for one of my previous employers, a supervisor decided to have an employee meeting. In this meeting, the only issue he addressed was a foul odor a single employee gave off. When he was done with his lecture in hygiene, I told the supervisor he did not have gather everyone and embarrass the individual. The next morning the supervisor handed me a note that said something similar to, "I have been working here for 12 years. Ive been a supervisor longer than you have been alive. If you don't like the way I am running my company (it wasnt his company) you can find yourself another job. Capeesh?"
I too thought it was funny but even funnier was when I handed my supervisor a note that simply said, "Capisce", and he was completely clueless on what it said. He asked, " what is cu-pis-ke?"

Give it up for Abraham...Abraham wrote:"Give It Up For" - This particular vulgarism is stated when the M.C. or a comedian entreats the audience for applause for the upcoming speaker, comedian, singer, etc.
I cringe every time I hear someone utter this bit of raunchiness.

When uttered by an ignoramus telephone caller.
I posted this a while back on this thread. When someone calls my phone and asks that I immediately hang up and won't answer calls from that number. That really annoys me.

"Do I know you?" or any question that can only truly be answered by the person asking. Unless you got amnesia you should know the answer.

Re: Word use that drives you up the wall!
I dont like being told, "Come here". If you got something to say to someone you should go to them. If its not important or your not going to show something you cant move, like a boulder, you should go to the person. I especially dont like when that phrase is used with the "Come here" finger gesture.

I feel the same way. When someone calls me and asks "Whos this?" I immediately hang up on them.Abraham wrote:Play Stupid Games - Win Stupid Prizes!
Can this hackneyed bit of witlessness be given a quiet death?
Phone etiquette: If you're the caller, it's up to you to immediately identify yourself, not demand the name of the person being called.

I dont like when someone calls my cell and says "Whos this?". When someones calls me and asks that I immediately hang up and will not answer any calls from that number.
