Re: walmart asking for chl
My issue with Walmart asking to see LTC is that the TABC signage refers to "Unlicensed Possession." Texas does not license possession, it licenses carriage.

Re: City Gun Ordinance Sign
Simple question.....Does it comply with 30.06?
If not, it might as well be written in Swahili.

Re: WWII Aircraft Facts
Another staggering statistic to look up is ammo production amounts. I've seen sources quote as high as 200 BILLION rounds of 'small arms' ammo in US production, with some US manufacturers also making Allies ammo (Winchester made something like 4 billion rounds of 303 British for example). Even with ...

I had a similar situation with a previous employer. I basicly told them "Your rules apply to me only when I'm on your clock. You control how I do my job, you do not control how I live my life."

Re: S&W M&P Shield 9mm in stock anywhere?
I got mine by pestering 4 different Academy stores!! I'd have them check online for other locations as well and it payed off one day when they told me about a 5th store that had one. I called that one direct, told them "I'm on my way!" Now it's my primary carry weapon! Thanks for the head...

Another idea if you're a reloader would be to use FMJ bullets for 32ACP loaded with appropriate powder. There are low velocity loads listed for 223 with IMR 5744 so you can probably find some for light 308s.

Whew!! Close call! VERY glad he'll recover physically but worried about mentally. Totally agree about safe handleing/muzzle control being an issue. I've always hammered those in to my nieces/nephews when they want to use any of my firearms. It's stuck, I've seen the proof in their handling! Good luc...

The only thing they need to hear is "BANG" repeated as many times as necessary!
