Perot was yet another example of media assassination. I remember during his campaign, he addressed a group of black voters, "you people have not gotten a fair shake." Whoops.... because he referred to them as "you people," the media insinuated he was addressing them as some separate, "non-white" group, therefore he was "racist" for using the term, "you people." A few days later, on the front cover of a major news magazine (Time, USN&W, etc.) it said, "Ross Perot: RACIST????" in bright red letters. Then later on, I saw a TV street interview with some black woman saying "oh, noooo, I'm not gonna vote for him, he's racist!!!"

Just leaves me speechless.
