My company owns the log, but it does not say anywhere in the handbook about the parking lot. Just the buildings. I am pretty sure I am safe, but you know Texas is a fire-at will state.

This is my company policy regarding weapons that are in my handbook. Would I be in violation if I kept in the parking lot. It appears that it only states the building.

**** has a strict policy of not allowing weapons in our buildings. The possession of a weapon
in a ***** facility, even if you have a permit for the weapon, will result in termination of your
employment.

Does the verbal notice need to be the same verbatim as the sign. Or can they just simply say CHL holders are not allowed to carry? And who has to be the one to tell if you work in a big corporation?

Since they give you notice does this in turn mean its illegal to carry? Even if you are not worried about the fired part.
