Re: HB 2164 - civil and criminal penalties for prohibiting LEO carry
It means on duty, off duty, out of jurisdiction, 24/7. I could walk in to any bar, restaurant, courthouse, school, sporting event etc. when I was a LEO. If they had security, I just showed my badge and bypassed metal detectors. This is why I have been so adamant about getting laws passed, to allow ...

Re: Signs for the CHLer
Thanks guys, I was just curious as it seems counter intuitive to not just post the sign at the door so they don't even come in the building. The proper signs take up a lot of space, and cost more than flyers. It makes more sense for many to just use the flyer or verbal notification method. It might...

Re: Alien Gear Gun Belt
I was wondering about the quality also. I do like my iwb holster from alien gear (I have the origional leather / kydex). My wife has the 2.0 version and she likes it. But with that being said I couldn't find many reviews on the belt. So I decided to spend a little more on a horsehide belt from &quo...

also , what do you wear ? coveralls ? My uniform consists of a button up shirt untucked, and blue jeans. I'm leaning toward just pocket carrying my TCP. And if i purchase the XDS I'll probably just put it in my tool box during the days I'm actually having to work :thumbs2: By the way my plastic Mai...

Re: Mechanic Carrying Advise
The ankle rig crossed my mind, But I just don't know if I would be comfortable with the time it would take me to retrieve it. Being new to concealing I don't like the idea of carrying say ankle at work and IWB away from work... Not sure how well I would adapt to two different positions, and maybe ha...

Re: Mechanic Carrying Advise
Thanks for all the replies, I'm rather busy today so I'll have to do a little research on the suggestions tonight. Right now I have a Taurus TCP .380, I have considered pocket carry with it. But I am strongly considering the Springfield XDS when it becomes available. Thanks again for all the suggest...

Mechanic Carrying Advise
I am about two weeks out from receiving my plastic. Any advise of how to carry and still be able to move around on a creeper? I have a IWB holster, and I'm real sure if I try to lay on my right side it's going to hurt. My only thoughts are just don't lay on my right side... but I'm not sure that's a...
