I was at the AMC@GMM at 10 pm this weekend and did not see the sign on the wall. Its pretty hard to see. I imagine that at night the sign on the wall is invisible.
I did see the GB sign.
I have noticed that the PD presence at the Malls and Theaters has gone down quite a bit the last few weeks. Summer vacations?
Eventually there will be a Tort case against those who put up the 30.06 signs. Should be interesting.

Las Vegas has a Honeypot program that has helped a lot with this type of crime.
A detective will act drunk or weak to attract criminals and get mugged while its all getting on tape. Then the stakeout team moves in and takes down the BGs. The tapes are pretty disturbing to watch. Most start out with the "interview" then descend from there.

I had a chicken dance with one of these types.
They had the sidewalk blocked and I glared at him and he moved. We went inside.
A little later the little rooster comes inside and walks around looking for us doing his "recon".
I got up and got into his six and got within two feet of him and followed HIM around.
When he finally saw me he filled his pants and left taking his buddies with him.
The sidewalk was clear when we left.
