Re: If I wanted America to fail....
Riles me up just thinking about how much we have lost in the past 3.5 years under the current follower in charge. :banghead: Very well done video...I recommend letting others know outside this forum about it too! :clapping: Not everything in that video falls on Obama... At least with regard to the ...

Re: Mom punches intruder
That was very poor judgement. I am glad she was lucky and it worked out for her. In this case, assuming no family was home, the wise thing would have been to drive past the house, call 911, and hope PD shows up in time. In general though, 911 is for cleaning up the mess afterwards. Last time I call...

I suppose we'll have both Martin's mother and Zimmerman's father on the stand claiming it's their respective sons' voices.

Re: It just never ends... Mob rule wins the day?
Murder 2 is probably over-charging, but I could see Manslaughter as a lesser included charge sticking. If voice analysis confirms Martin as the one screaming in the background of that one 911 call, Zimmerman's toast. The catch here is that there will almost certainly be an expert who is certain (or...

Re: It just never ends... Mob rule wins the day?
We've been sliding toward mob rule ever since we went to direct election of senators in 1913. :iagree: "Democracy has never been and never can be so durable as aristocracy or monarchy; but while it lasts, it is more bloody than either. . . . Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes...

Re: Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe
So, I have had a few chances to wear the holster around, and it has done very well. Even driving in my small car's tight seat, it was barely noticeable (either in terms of visibility to others or discomfort to me). I actually went to wash said car a few days ago, while carrying, at one of those do-i...

Re: Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe
It arrived today, along with the two gun belts and V-Clips. I haven't worn it outside of the house -- didn't really have a reason to go anywhere after work -- but I am already in love with this holster. It is comfortable and, after a little breaking in the leather and adjusting the clips to get a di...

Just got the email notification that mine has shipped, so it's now up to the U.S. Postal Service how much longer it takes.

Re: MD gun law found unconstitutional
Yep, this looks like a BIG lever. How many hops to get to SCOTUS, assuming MD appeals? The typical pattern of appeals would be this, assuming that whomever loses at each stop along the way wants to carry on the fight: Motion for rehearing in the federal district court in Maryland. This seems unlike...

Re: Recommend an instructor/class in Houston?
My wife and I did ours at Memorial Shooting Center; the classes there are done by 360 Tactical Training. We had a good experience.

Re: SmartCarry or Stealth Holster (Ruger LC9)
The Smart Carry is great. :iagree: The Smart Carry will cause a lump in your pants, but nobody but my own wife ever looks there, so no need to worry about breaking the "intentional failure to conceal" law. BTW, the other manufacturer is probably an illegal copy of the Smart Carry. The Sma...

Thanks for the replies, guys.
CheckonChico, no, I ordered it just before my initial post, so it'll be a while. I will update this thread once it arrives.

Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe
Finally decided to order the Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe and the V-clips (velcro) for my new EDC, a Glock 27. I'm looking forward to getting it and trying it out. I reviewed the SmartCarry on here previously. It's a great holster for deep concealment, especially with casual clothes (i.e., jeans), an...

Re: What do YOU call it?
I usually call it a "soft drink," unless I'm asking for something particular, like a Diet Coke (which I call... "Diet Coke"). Guess I'm weird!
Re: Tump
I think this was the first time I'd heard it. I'm from the South and have lived in the South or in Texas almost my entire life, and this is a new one for me.
