Re: Let’s talk .22 pistols
Enjoyed seeing everyone's opinion on their favorite 22 (still love my old Buckmark) but I think some have missed the spirit of the OP. Tex1961 is asking for recommendations on choosing between the TX22 & P-17. I've seen several of you post on the Taurus but still waiting to hear from someone wit...

Re: Let’s talk .22 pistols
I love my TX22. Accurate and feels like full size - but light. Plus, mine has never had a failure in several hundred rounds. I like the idea of the P17 but like most Kel Tecs, when you want one you can't find it. I also saw early reviews where it didn't look too reliable even with recommended ammo b...

Re: Magnets on Guns
I've taken an old cheap nylon holster (we all have a bunch laying around somewhere) and removed the belt clip and then screwed it under a desk. Or, you can make a simple bracket and then clip the holster on to it just like your belt. Works great and doesn't cost anything. Just a thought.

Re: Applied to renew my LTC
Glad it looks like your card is in the mail. My experience was the same as others in the post. Less than three weeks from the time I renewed on line till card in hand. I was pleasantly surprised. Plus the senior discount this time.

Re: Magazine repair question
Sorry, hadn't had my coffee yet. What I meant to communicate was that the NEW springs look much longer that the old springs that have been in mags a while. My bad.

Re: Magazine repair question
I think replacing the mag spring is a good idea even if it’s not the ultimate problem. I’ve gotten to the point of replacing magazine springs on used guns most of the time. I expected new springs to be longer looking than ones that have been in mags for a while but I have been pretty surprised how m...

Re: Online Sales Taxes is being collected
Frankly, I'm surprised it took the state this long to go after this pot of gold. We're talking about a lot of $$ to add to the state's coffers... which they'll spend wisely no doubt.

Re: LTC Renewal Time
Just wanted to give DPS props. I had a positive experience on my renewal just as some above have mentioned. Applied April 26. Card in hand May 13. Web site worked great and everything was easy and painless. If only I could say the same for all govt. experiences.

Re: AZ DPS details serious FNS9 safety issues, switches to Glocks.
Glad I read this. I have an FNS9 that I have enjoyed shooting. Bought it used a while back and never had any issues with it. It has been reliable and accurate for me. I did a little research after reading this thread and decided to reach out to FN. Called them this afternoon and they could not have ...

Re: Unicorn pistol
The Kahr CT9 may also be worth a look if you're ok with a single stack (8+1). I would consider it sized between a 365 and the G19 and it's only .9" wide.

Re: Unicorn pistol
The Ruger Security 9 is listed at 1.02". Very similar to a G19 in size but much lower in cost. I picked one up a little while back and while I'm not crazy about it's curb appeal I've been pleased with it's reliability and accuracy.

Man, why is it that I never fall into deals like that. Those Rugers run forever and that one looks great. Looks like you just picked up a new item for that cage you just finished.
