Since we're on the subject of the FBI--not intending to be too contrary to Abraham's post equating 1911s to flintlocks--the FBI's elite tactical division, the Hostage Rescue Team, uses...wait for it...1911s.

In my safe, in order of quantity, are 1911s, Glocks, SA XDs, and then several one-off others (Kahr, Seecamp, S&W, Ruger, etc.). They all coexist nicely. It takes me a couple of minutes of dry-fire to get used to the Glock grip angle; really doesn't require adjustment to go back to the 1911s.
