Just a "you probably already know this" tip: If you have Adobe Photoshop, you can open an unprotected PDF and Photoshop will ask you to specify the size and dpi in order to rasterize the image. So if you want a 24"-wide image for your plotter, you can open any of the target PDFs (see page 7 of the ones at http://www.targetz.com, for example), specify 300dpi and 7,200 pixels wide, and voila!, a 24-inch-wide, 300dpi version of the PDF page. Actually, 150dpi would be perfectly acceptable, and that would be 3,600 pixels wide for a 24-inch plotter roll, 5,400 pixels wide if you want to print full-size on a 36" plotter.
