Belt-looping is evidently less than an exact science with haberdashers.
Even if you take a ruler to the belt loops on your Dockers, Slates, Savannes, Polos, or Perry Ellis's, individual loops on a specific pair of pants may be sewn differently...and nobody said a 1.5" gun belt was the same thickness as a wimpy, single-layer belt.If you wear off-the-rack dress slacks, I think you'll need at least one, good 1.25" gun belt.
