Finally! Checked DPS site today and my back ground check is complete, manufacturing pending on the license! My wife's was complete and manufacturing pending too!

13 days passed for mine from the time it was received at the mail room until it showed up online as being processed. Haven't got my CHL in the mail yet, but I picked up what will be my carry weapon today. XD40 4" service. I am going to make my own holster for it, used to do a bunch of leather and saddle work.

Should your second date be at the range???

Thanks again for the warm welcome! Well I am picking up a SA 4" service Xd-40 tomorrow! Can't wait to take it out and put some rounds through it.
