Reminder, breakfast this weekend at Rudy's is a wee bit earlier than usual. I'll arrive around 7:45 at Rudy's on I-10 in Katy.

Yeah, I do miss these. I've been so busy on weekends that I couldn't do it - but we should do it again soon.

I know we usually did the 3rd Saturdays, but I'm teaching an LTC course on the 18th, starting at 9am. But that class is on Hwy 6, near Briar Forest, so it's not too far away. Anyone want to meet for breakfast around 7:45 at Rudy's? I'll invite my LTC students to join in as well...

We’re down to one vehicle for the family this weekend. No chance I can make it.

I'm going to do my best guys. My daughter has a swim meet in the afternoon on Saturday and Sunday, so I might not be able to break free in the morning.

Well guys, I wish I could make it, but I don't see how I can do it this week. After the excitement of last weekend (while we're still waiting on repairs & security system updates to be completed), we're maintaining a 24/7 presence in my wife's store. Add to that the fact that Li'l Miss Vol Texan is performing in four performances of the Nutcracker this weekend, I can't see how I can break free on Saturday morning.

Hope y'all have a good one to close out the year, and I look forward to seeing everyone in January.

I’m out this month. Saturday is my last day with my mom visiting from out of town. She deserves to steal my attention from y’a Just this once.

Look for us at the end of one of the tables near the condiment station. A bright orange UT hat (Tennessee orange, of course) is a good indicator you're looking in the right direction.

This week, on Thursday night, there were two break-ins on the block where my wife's store is located. A handful of utes were spotted casing the stores this week during the day, and actually got caught on film casing the ladies' clothing store next to my wife's place. The films of the break-ins indicate it was the same guys.

Both break-ins were in the 2:00 am hour, so I pulled a 1:30 to 3:30 shift in her store, and just now arrived home. I'll try to make it in the morning, but please forgive me if I oversleep.
