Well, I had my first carry outing. Nothing really exciting, which is good. I went to Dollar General, we went to a couple of other stores as well as out to dinner. At the stores, I continually was hold my stomach in so that I wasn't pushing the gun out. Husband noticed and was laughing at me. At the restaurant, I had to go to the restroom to re-adjust cause I felt like it was sticking out of my ribs. All of which I was the only one that noticed any of this. Husband also told me to stop holding my elbow against the gun, so I switched my purse to that side. lol. It is definitely something I am going to have to get used to. All in all it was a successful first carry weekend. Still haven't done my official Wally walk yet though.

Happy carrying and wish for all to never have to use.

I am starting to have some doubts on when mine will arrive. I have seen others that went to mailed after me and already got theirs. I know it has only been 6 days since I went to mailed status but my process so far has not been speedy so very skeptical about the mailing process being speedy. My luck it will be one of those boxes that got pushed to the corner and forgotten about when sending to post office. I guess it will get here when it gets here.

71 days and counting so far - mailbox to mailbox

Nothing today. Hopefully tomorrow

I will be so Will have to make a trip to Wally World or maybe just Kroger, just so I can have my first trip out.

Hope your move went well and that you are feeling better. Atleast yours should forward and you don't have to wait in DPS to get it back before they re-print and send it out again.

I seem to be feeling a bit calmer the past couple of days. My patience has been restored (for now).

Once again I am happy you got a response in such a timely manner. It should be that way for everyone. Just without the crazy long wait. We live in such a "connected" society it shouldn't be all that difficult to check peoples history. Then again we have the human part of it which is subject to error.

Thanks. I don't think anything is "across the board" with DPS. There are some that get theirs within a couple of days and than others that it takes the full "10 -14 business days" With the way everything else has been, I will probably be one that takes the full 10 - 14 days.

Hopefully you get your license before Friday. Good Luck on your move
