Re: My Wait Begins/Ends

Tbucher1218 wrote:Well, I had my first carry outing. Nothing really exciting, which is good. :cool: I went to Dollar General, we went to a couple of other stores as well as out to dinner. At the stores, I continually was hold my stomach in so that I wasn't pushing the gun out. :smilelol5: Husband noticed and was laughing at me. At the restaurant, I had to go to the restroom to re-adjust cause I felt like it was sticking out of my ribs. :lol:: All of which I was the only one that noticed any of this. Husband also told me to stop holding my elbow against the gun, so I switched my purse to that side. lol. It is definitely something I am going to have to get used to. All in all it was a successful first carry weekend. Still haven't done my official Wally walk yet though.

Happy carrying and wish for all to never have to use. :cheers2:
:woohoo

I still feel that my gun is poking out when I am in a store. I usually find a mirror and look only to see that I can't tell that the gun is there. Maybe after a few months of carrying I will get over the thought that my gun is always showing.

You are more patient than I am. I would have already called them this morning and gave them :mad5

Re: My Wait Begins

The nice thing about the Remora is that you don't have to wear a belt. The material it is made out of holds it in place very well against your body and clothes. They are also inexpensive for a holster and have a lifetime warranty :thumbs2: You can't go wrong.

I really wish the XD9sc would of felt better for me because I know it is a very reliable gun and I like the safety features on it. Maybe I just need to check my man card and not let weight of be an issue for me.

Re: My Wait Begins

How do you like your XD9sc? I shot one of those and found it to be really top heavy for my liking.

Have you looked into the Remora holsters? http://remoraholsters.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I bought one and love it. Real easy to carry with most every type on clothing. Check out youtube, there are a couple of really good reviews by women and how they wear them.

Tbucher1218 wrote:Was hoping my phone call would prompt a change in status..... no such luck.

Let me know what you think about the Shield. We were talking to a guy at Winchester gun range in Ft. Worth last weekend about them and he said that he was very impressed with the Shield. I might have to look at getting one but will probably be a little while.

I will let you know.

What do you plan on using for your EDC? What does your hubby carry?
