There is a video of an old man going off about the Zimmerman trial in the article. I'm not going to post a direct link or embed the video because of the 13yr old daughter rule, but to be perfectly honest, I'm going to let my me 13 yr old daughter watch this when I get home and see how she feels about this mans behavior and what he has to say about the topic.

I am amazed everyday by the stupidity the world.
On my way into work this morning, a woman called into a radio show and proclaimed " the 911 dispatchers in Florida are not contractors, they are Government employees,so George Zimmerman disobeyed the direct order of a Federal Officer and that's a felony!"
I nearly drove of the road screaming at the radio and the stupidity filling my ears.

I think most people who talk about this trial and it's outcome are like those people who tell how bad or good a movie is without ever seeing it. They read media reports and a few reviews and suddenly they are experts on cinematography. Event the talking heads that are reporting on the trial are only viewing from a narrowed view that meets their biased agenda. Disgusting.

Since the shooting of Martin, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the NAACP (along with the liberal media) have done their best to portray Martin as an innocent kid tiptoeing through the tulips who just happened to be the victim of a racist white vigilante (even though Zimmerman is half Hispanic).

The attention on the Zimmerman trial is not about justice for Trayvon; it’s about intimidation and dividing the American people along race.

This guy gets it.

This image if O'Mara, basically reenacting Trayvon straddling Zimmerman and smashing his head into the concrete, was a pivotal moment in this trail. The Jury members were all standing and leaning over getting a good look at this. They were now able to visualize what was happening to Zimmerman. This combined with the images of Zimmermans injuries is pretty powerful. This echoes the key moment in this trial like the "if the glove don't' fit....." from another famous trial.
I'd like to see this again during closing arguments so to make sure it hits home with the Jury.

Boring day so far. I would love to see that animation they were talking about. I personally wonder about this marijuana usage. Sure they should bring it up, but after encountering hundreds if not 1000's of people under the influence of marijuana, I have never encountered a hostile or aggressive one. I wondered about that too.....everything I've ever heard indicates marijuana does not produce aggression, but a dull mellow response. Unless they've got some evidence that ties marijuana use in some individuals to aggressive behavior or shows aggression in combination with some other drug in his system, it would seem to undermine the theory of Martin as aggressor. I'm guessing the intent is to corroborate Z's phone remark that Martin looked like he was on drugs, and maybe just make the inference that drug user = bad person.

In general, after using marijuana a person experiences a sedating effect, which makes the drug less likely to cause violence in users than other substances such as alcohol and stimulants (e.g., amphetamines and cocaine).

However, sometimes when marijuana is used it can cause fear, anxiety, panic or paranoia, which can result in an aggressive outburst. For most people, however, once the effects of the drug wear off, their behaviour gradually improves.
