Re: Pardon me, but is this chair taken?
I'm only a couple weeks ahead of you. I agree that the discussions in the class were very sobering. Some of that I never thought of...and I'm hopeful that if the time ever comes I have the training necessary to make those quick decisions. It is a never ending learning process, for certain. And this...

Re: 82 days
I realize that the DPS is handling a lot of requests but, in this day and age there really is no reason that there are the discrepancies in how long it takes for people to receive their CHL. Maybe the supervision in this department needs to be looked at and held to task a little better......Just my ...

My status also changed to "Mailed" today....... 37 total days, but only 28 working days. All things considered, the time I had to wait does not seem bad at all.

Re: How long in Background Check Review?
To me......This is one of those times where the Internet and this "Age of Information" does more harm than good. In the old days you just waited by the mail box for something to show up....... Now we can follow every step which urges most people to check at least daily..... Not wanting to ...

Newbie here. Just stated the process and received notice that my prints were rejected. Frustrating to say the least, but nevertheless will reschedule. Are rejected prints normal? Also I'm taking the class this weekend. I'm glad I found this forum, there is a plethora of knowledge here. When did you...
