Re: Address change while renewing?
My son changed his address when he moved and since his was going to expire in within 6 months, he opted to renew and did not have any problems. Just make sure your DL is changed too. (this happened 10 years ago.) Thank you! I finally got through to CHL office. I guess there is an option to update m...

Address change while renewing?
Any suggestions on changing address while renewing. I just moved and changed my DL today. I need to also change my CHL which is due to expire in March. Went on website and there is an option to change address and I'm wondering if I should do that before renewing or will there be an option once start...

Re: School scanning drivers license
One of my major concerns is the ability for CHL to be viewed when drivers license is scanned, it's not like I can ask the school to verify my worry because that would kind of throwing the whole privacy part out the window. I am very weary of data bases in general, now it is a federal system (school)...

Re: School scanning drivers license
It involves a third party softwear which enters your information and checks against national database of child molesters. I have no worries as I am not a child molester, but I am definitely not comfortable with having my information released to some company who I am supposed to trust with my license...

School scanning drivers license
Any thoughts on a recent policy change at my kids elementary school? They contacted parents and informed us that from here on out we will be required to turn over our drivers license which will be scanned into a data base each and every time we check our children in/out of school or enter school bui...

Re: Killed over taking a picture or an "inteview" excuse?
Years ago, I was approached by a homeless man just minutes after finding a crisp $50 bill on the sidewalk. I figured easy come.. easy go.. and handed it over to him with a big smile. Minutes later, sirens and cop cars swarmed the area, and my curiosity got the best of me, so I turned back to see wha...

Does anyone know if any of the "news" channels will be broadcasting the trials? Longshot I'm sure.

Re: What would you say to a repair guy if you saw his gun
As a woman, i find it very uncomfortable to have an unknown repairman in my home, but as a CHL holder I can't imagine entering an unknown person's home without it. But I would think a repairman would do everything in his power to be 110% concealed to avoid any issues though? I know many women who wo...

Re: Poison Sumac help
The one product I've found that works without fail is Zanfil. You can find it over the counter at most drug stores. Its not cheap, but I've taken to always having a couple tubes around the house during the spring and summer months. I think it's about 35$ and worth every penny. I also found this on ...

Re: The Walking Dead!
Andrea is nails on a chalkboard annoying. I was actually cheering for the pirate-eyed idiot during that 6 hr warehouse scene. When she handed over her gun to the geeky guy, I went from hating her to: OMG please say she dies a painful death by the end of this episode. I like Michonne, she's at least ...

Re: Wish List - for a new home
Small conveniences I like. Plug inside broom closet if you use a Dustbuster or cordless vac. Have a plug installed in a bathroom drawer for an area to stash hairdryer/straight iron junk (nix this if the wife leaves things turned on is forgetful though). I put a large cabinet in kitchen that was desi...
