Re: .308 Queston
Yea, I can definitely see how not asking could seem a little strange to someone while shooting...but I have a good report with the owner and manager of my local range, and I'm sure a short conversation with them would do the trick to allow me access on lanes while no-one was shooting, as I can't see...

Re: Campus Carry news & story
I would like to re-visit this topic since so much has happened since the last time it was mentioned. I am still a college student, with only one semester remaining and am now wondering if the 'ability to ask for permission' would in fact be issued to a college student? As I understand, many school d...

Re: .308 Queston
I do have two reloading manuals which have allowed me to find the correct type of powder and powder charges for the desired loads I will be loading; however, those two manuals (one speer and one lymann) did not have any primer information that I could see...perhaps I just need to re-reread them. As ...

.308 Queston
Okay, so I am new to reloading and have everything I need (except for brass) to start reloading my .308 rounds. My question is this...I bought several boxes of primers, all 'large rifle primers' which, as I understand will be good to reload my 300 Short Mag...but will these primers work with reloadi...

True story. Even if she was bluffing, hopefully she scared the BG's out of the room!

Re: Campus Carry news & story
I'm actually a little bit shocked that she said that at all. She might not have permission and that's why she said not to ask her where and has just decided that her life is worth more than her job to her.[/quote] Yea, that's definitely crossed my mind as well. I suppose I could be a test case on t...

Re: Campus Carry news & story
As a CHL holder, and college student, I feel like Universities offering the ability to grant permission to carry is a trap. Ive thought about asking to be able to carry on campus (in the buildings) but never do as I feel that would be a great opportunity for these officials to not only deny me, but...

Re: WTB/WTT For SIG P238
Yea, I bought one for the 'ol lady last month and it's a dream to shoot. I still don't mind the LCP...I can shoot very well with it. It's just that I would like a safety if I'm going to pocket carry (which I do everyday).

WTB/WTT For SIG P238
I have a Ruger LCP .380 with added belt accessible clip I would trade with cash. The Ruger comes with a Ruger LCP molded hard case and extra magazine. I would also be very interested in buying a P238 outright. I live in Corpus Christi, but will go as far as Houston area to meet FTF. Thanks!

Re: First contact
"Even if you know where the conversation is headed, you have to go through the dance steps to get there, and you have to let the LEO lead."
That is the exact truth. I've learned my lesson about trying to lead that dance, and it will not happen again!

Re: First contact
Ive got a healthy baby niece, and it was worth it!!! No, I was very calm, standing evenly on both feet, waiting to get out of there! My question is this...if the cop was worried about the gun being in the truck, enough so that he made me stand in front of his cruiser, why wouldn't he care about havi...

First contact
Well, this past weekend was my first time to make contact with a LEO since having my license. So, my sister is having her first baby; so needless to say, I'm driving quick, fast, and in a hurry (9 mph over). Going through Refugio, guess what I see in my rear-view...it's the fuzz in a pretty awesome ...
