Re: Have you ever actually drawn your CHL Weopon in self def

I havent had to draw down on anyone yet but I've come close twice (been CCWing for just under two years now): First Time - About a year ago at 1am I get a call from a buddy that he needs a ride home from a bar. He sounds agitated and said he needs one ASAP so I throw on some clothes and at the last ...

Re: 7.62X39

Widener's has 1k for 205. Russian steel cased stuff. They had a 1280 of brass Yugo for 240? I grabbed one but it seems to be gone. Re: Pronunciation: Kalashnikov

I've lived in Russia and speak it pretty well. I recall it being KaLASHnikov. Most Russians refer to it as the Kalashnikov or Kalash (as slang). I've never heard one refer to it as the AK or AK47.

Re: oponion's on a 7.62x39

So any inputs on mini 30s. Ive never shot one I owned a mini 30 and it was a good gun. The newer 581 series have a heavier barrel and are much improved over the older ones that earned a reputation for bad accuracy. I enjoyed shooting it but my issue was that it wasn't reliable with cheap foreign am...
