Re: 'Scuze me while I whip this out.

As others have already said...Better holster that keeps its shape when the pistol is removed. (Leather or Kydex) and a good rigid Belt.

Dont sell yourself short when it comes to gear, your life depends on it!!

Re: New Range Bag - Suggestions?

I have always liked Bagmaster. Expensive but nice.
I had a small one I lost to IKE, and replaced it with a large one similar to this:

Re: Found Gun

IANAL, But IMO just because you are entitled to repossess a vehicle should not allow you to keep the contents of said vehicle. They are separate from the vehicle. If you hold lein to the vehicle, you are entitled to that vehicle, but what if the handgun is a family heirloom? I think the family is en...

Re: La Marque, garden spot of Galveston County

La Marque has never been the Crown Jewel of Galveston county, but I wonder if the rise in crime rate may be in part due to many people being displaced from Galveston due to Ike?

Remember, all of the low income housing tenants have been displaced.

Re: Failed to immediately show CHL

Is the police telling me I'm not allowed to go someplace that isn't posted really proper notice? I thought it had to be the owner or a representative of the business. I understand and agree that it would be foolish to return to the theater until everything is resolved, but has he really been given ...

Re: Failed to immediately show CHL

Why did HISD have your gun if you were at a movie theater outside of their primary jurisdiction?

Why did they wait 2 days only to come to your house at 3am?

This story is sounding fishy

Re: Rights of Employers OUTSIDE of company 'premises'

I would agree with the previous posts.....Bottom line: If your employer gives you notice, either verbally or in a written policy, they can fire you. It doesn't matter whether it's in their vehicle or on their property. Doesn't matter if you are "legally" carrying or not. They are saying wh...
