Re: S&W M&P 15-22 1st Range Report

I bought one of these a few weeks ago as well and I've been happy with it so far. I shot a mix of Winchester xpert, Remington golden bullet, Federal Lightning, and cci green tag for a total of a couple hundred rounds--all of it functioned flawlessly. I had better luck with grouping than you did-- I ...

Re: Licensed open-carry or unlicensed open-carry?

I vote for licensed open carry primarily because it will be easier to get passed into law. Carrying while intoxicated questions

So I haven't posted in a while because all the folks smarter than me ask the question first :tiphat: , but I'm curious about an issue that came up during my recent renewal class. While reviewing the applicable statues, the instructor stressed that 'just having alcohol on your breath' would violate t...

Re: inter-American arms trafficking treaty

When I saw Obama's comments in the news I thought, 'What's in this treaty, anyway?' I did a little googling on 'CIFTA' and found a 'model' law proposed by the drafters in 2006. Needless to say, this treaty is really scary... The intent is to allow a law enforcement agent to get a detailed history on...

Bicycle carry

I carry a Keltec P3AT in a pocket holster when I mountain bike; fits nicely inside the jersey's back pocket. A spare mag rides loose in the other jersey pocket, hidden by a spare tube....

Hello all!

I'm a 37 year old male in El Paso, Texas. I work in the IT industry at a large employer in El Paso.

I've been reading the site for almost year now-- This has to be one of the best resources for information and updates!

Anyway, I've had my CHL since March and carry almost daily.

El Paso County Coliseum

I'm taking my wife to a concert at the El Paso County coliseum. Do they allow CHLs to carry?

Thanks!

Wow, sucks about Kirks--my chl instructor worked there...

I'll add El Paso Gun Exchange (at Geronimo/Edgemere) to the list of Gun shops. Not LEO/CHL specific, but they do have an onsite gunsmith and a decent selection of items

Travel to El Paso Next Week

I went to the El Paso Club a month or so ago-- no 30.06

Come to think of it, the only 30.06 signs I've seen have been at hospitals...
