I joined the Army Reserves at the age of 17, went to Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO between my 11th and 12th grade years, then went to school in Fort Gordon, GA after I graduated high school. I spent eight years in the Active Reserves, four in the inactive, and got out. I don’t believe I am eligible for any veterans benefits (beyond the half price CHL) and I haven’t asked for any (except half price CHL). I never went regular Army, never served overseas, and skipped Desert Storm although I was offered a slot with our sister company who was activated.gigag04 wrote:Person below me served in the armed forces.
