Re: CA: Burglary suspect sues homeowner who defended himself
He broke into my house. He tied me up. He ransacked my house. He shot me in the face. FINALLY, I shot at him. Now, you are going to sue ME for "reckless use of a firearm" and the damages are for your pain and suffering and the fact your wife divorced you? Question: Why would any lawyer be ...

Re: Shooting at Empire State Buildings
If this were Texas, and I were standing there when this occured......I am going to see a man gunning down an unarmed man. I am going to see a large number of innocent people around. I suppose the tipping point would be if I saw him make no effort to shoot any OTHER people. If that was the case, I wo...

Re: Teens kill with one punch

Typically what happens is, one of them talks to you, threatens you, does whatever to get your attention while another of their group comes at you from the side to sucker punch you. Don't let them surround you. Stay very aware of where all of them a...

Re: OH: Pizza driver fires 5-6 rds, hits both shotgun robber
Exactly. The pizza delivery guy did not shoot the armed robbers to keep them from taking the pizza. He did not shoot them to keep them from taking the MONEY. *HE SHOT THE ARMED ROBBERS TO PREVENT THEM FROM CARRYING OUT THEIR THREAT OF KILLING HIM WITH THE SHOTGUNS THEY WERE AIMING AT HIM*.

Re: What was your first job?
On air radio DJ at 14. No kidding. I had grown up with my bedside radio as my best friend. I'd sit for HOURS at night and go up and down that AM dial seeing what far off radio stations I could find. By the time I was 14, I started driving the local radio station owner NUTS to give me a job. I would ...

Re: Houston Family Dollar Robbery
Reading this, your heart just sinks. I'm new to CHL (45yo), and have been spending a LOT of time trying to make sure I FULLY understand not only the law, but how it applies in different -real life- scenarios. I've never even been close to breaking the law, and don't want to start now. In this case, ...
