Re: Glock 30 opinions please
That would be great. They are finishing up the new private lanes in a couple of weeks.

Hey C-Dub,
Come to Shootsmart and I'll let you shoot it. Then you can tell me for sure.

Re: Glock 30 opinions please
Went to the range today to pick up my new Glock 21 Gen 4 (I traded a Sig P238) for it. While I was standing at the counter the owner comes up to me and says, hey Jim, you really need this brand new Glock 30sf to go along with your new 21. I told him $489 was a good price but I could wait for the Gen 4. He said how about $389? I told him if I were to buy the Glock 30 sf for $389, he would have to sell me a 1,000 round case of Federal 230 FMJ for $300. He said, okay. Is today my birthday?

Re: Glock 30 opinions please
I own a Glock 17 Gen 4 as my CCW. I have about 2,600 rounds through it. It has had two failures. Both were in the 1st 500 rounds and I was using remanufactured ammo. Now, I only use Ferederal 115 grain FMJ for the range and Federal HST 147 grain standard for SD. Yesterday, my Glock 21 Gen 4 arrived. In comparing the 17 to the 21, the dimensions of the length and height are basically the same. However, the weight and width are slightly larger on the 21. I plan on using Federal 230 grain FMJ for the range and Federal HST 230 grain standard pressure for HD. If I get as natural with the 21 as I am with the 17, I may make it my CCW. In any case, if you haven't seen how the HST performs, please review a few of the online videos on its performance. Very impressive. I want to see how the Glock 30 Gen 4's perform and then I might get one.
