SPF: G17 Gen4 and Mossberg 715T - DFW

Since I never use these two firearms anymore figured I would try to sell them to fund a project to get a AR 223. The Glock G17 Gen 4 has about 500 rounds through it and it was made past the magic date for the recoil spring. It is all stock and never been modified. It comes with everything it came wh...

Re: Needed To Purchase Glock 17

I have one I may want to get rid of, was thinking of selling it to get an AR platform. Currently on a work trip in Chicago but can provide pics next week when I am back.

Hats off to all the truckers out there....

Well I always wanted to at least be at the controls of a big rig with a huge trailer on the back and since I work in Networking clearly that was not going to happen anytime soon. My uncle however is a long haul trucker and he invited me out last weekend to come by his place of work and see what its ...

Re: I made a boo boo with my gun purchase.

Looks like soon enough you'll be able to use those lil teeny numbers themselves - the 7s, 8s and 9s - as aiming points; the X-ring is getting far too easy for ya :tiphat: ;-)
This was concentrating pretty hard... I have the dang habit of pulling to the left when shooting.

Re: I made a boo boo with my gun purchase.

Daniel and I made the switch yesterday...both happy! I was excited to find that the 4.0 fit in my DeSantis pocket holster and also fit in my AlienGear with no complications! I love the longer sight line...it is going to be a better setup for me as a right handed but left eye dominant shooter. :chee...

Re: I made a boo boo with my gun purchase.

Thanks for the info peeps! I was worried about the weight but after looking at the specs there is only a couple ounces between them. What I'm finding difficult is finding a holster since most I see are made for the 3.3. I like the single clip IWB either slim kydex or some tough fabric. Any hints? --...

I made a boo boo with my gun purchase.

So Tuesday I bought a brand new XDS 9mm from Cabela's. In all the excitement that someone actually had this one in stock I completely forgot to check if it was the 4in or 3.3in. I wanted the 3.3 but without looking bought the 4in. CRUD! If I find a 3.3 slide and barrel would those fit on the frame j...

SPF: Glock 26 Gen 4

Fellow CHLers. I currently have a Glock 26 Gen 4 that I use as my EDC. However I recently had a chance to try the XDS in 9mm and want to use it as my ECD. Here is what I have: - Glock 26 Gen 4 - Has about 300 rounds fired through it. - Galco Ankle holster with calf strap - Galco IWB Holster - Hopp L...

Well I did the interview with TSA peeps at DFW Airport. Now for the wait which they say takes 30-60 days for the "Security Threat Assessment".

Re: TSA Precheck

Yes, it's very easy. You go in they & go over some info, ask some simple questions, take your picture, show you how to use it on a dummy machine and that's it. Park in the middle of the terminal. It's in the lower level just left of center if you are facing the terminal. Shouldn't take but 20-3...
