After reading several of the forums, it seems as if several people have taken the CHL class, and sometime after mailing the packet to DPS have gone and gotten their finger prints done. What is up with that? At the advice of my CHL instructor, I paid for my license, printed out the application confirmation email with the bar code, then went and had my finger prints done the next day, and two days later took the CHL class. Why did so many of you wait so long to get your finger prints done?

I mailed everything required back to DPS on June 10, 2012 and as of July 26, I am still waiting upon my CHL
