Re: Theis Holster
I have a Theis holster for my G19. Tommy was great to deal with. I love my holster and the customer service was amazing.

Re: I'm just going to sit down and rest a bit
I've always carried a G19 in an IWB kydex/leather holster. Very comfortable, I shoot it great, and I trust it completely. I just moved to Texas so not having it I feel naked. I will be happy once I have my plastic.

Re: I'm just going to sit down and rest a bit
My status updated. They have received everything and my background check is under review. That may have happened yesterday as I did not check and I'm sure they are not working on a Saturday.

Re: I'm just going to sit down and rest a bit
Well you have your plastic. If I get mine in anything more than 20 days I will blame it on not sending the FAST form in.Greekguydave wrote:Oops. I mailed mine, oh well.

Re: I'm just going to sit down and rest a bit
The FAST form does not need to be mailed in. It is simply a record for you to keep in case your file does not get to DPS.

That's good to hear how quick yours was. I hope mine is as fast.

It's in my hand!
EDIT: It's in my wallet as we speak. Mailed 04AUG 24 days door to door. Good luck to the rest of y'all. Mailed my documents in today. Fingerprints will be done on Monday. From what I hear 4-6 weeks is the normal wait time. I can handle that, I waited 6 months for my Massachusetts Class A license to ...

Re: Completed forms: Mail in or submit online?
I'm not sure about that. The poster above said that he had done it for a new application. Also, there are several threads discussing that as of JUN12 there is no longer a need for photos if you have a Texas DPS DL. You can simply put "use drivers license photo". Oddly enough, the CHL class...

Re: Completed forms: Mail in or submit online?
So with this in conjunction with the fact that you can now write "use driver's License photo" on the CHL 6 is there any need to mail anything in?
