If you think you are any of these just because you now have a Pistol/handgun/rock/sharpstick then you need to reevaluate the reason you got one in the first place. If you want to wear a badge then go to law school and earn the right to wear a badge.
The idea was a brain storm on how to make OC more palatable. It has jack to do with CHL. Next time read the thread before you foam at the mouth.
Does this fall better on your ears now?

You know this would be a good idea except for the few rotten apples that would take advantage of it.

Example http://www.berettaforum.net/vb/showthre ... mpersonate" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I am just shocked no one is discussing the mandatory use of a Peacemaker, Spanish style rig, and required speghetti western soundtrack at all times that was also part of the discussion. Come on, if we're going to do it, it needs to be done right. Now others will argue more of True Grit approach, but nah we've got to go for full on FistFull of Dollars here. Anything else would be unTexan. :txflag: :thewave
Ok, I'll bite...

What make you think doing it right means it would be a good idea to wear some "badge"??? (If you are open carrying???)

Do you believe it would or should be a requirement to have a badge looking thing hanging off your belt if you carry openly in public???

What would the badge say upon close inspection???

If close inspection is not an option at a particular time or place, then what do you believe will be the perception and more important the expectations of the general (non-carrying) public if all they see is your gun, and some shiny thing on your belt that "looks" like a badge???

The ball is in your court...We eagerly await your answers...
