That P239 looks like it might be too big, but then again you should at least try it and wear it around the house before venturing out...

I bought a G27 from a member here a year or so ago...He had an ankle rig for it, and I tried it out...My only beef with it was it would have taken me too long to draw and use the weapon in a defensive situation...

Wearing it around I was ok though...

But then again the G27 is a sub-compact pistol frame...

The Sig P239 to me is a mid-sized model...

Can you tell us why a belt rig is not something that floats your boat???

But I'd go check out those makers and see if they have something for you to work on the ankle for that size of pistol...
