That is an interesting "pistol" grip on your AR...Did that come with it or did you get it aftermarket??? Looks very "conformal", and the "AR gap" between the trigger guard and the grip looks to be gone with just that grip alone...I may be wrong, I just can barely see the transition in that area...Can't tell for sure...

That had always been a booger-boo I had to fix on mine...I have delicate fingers... ;-)

I'm eyeballing AK's right now...its like, new reflex sight, or a new rifle.
Good, I was about to say there's something funny about that thing!

Thats one of the weird things about me...I actually shoot better left handed...But I just don't do it when it has to count...My instincts are right handed...

Somebody's just going to say I'm weird to begin with... ;-)

In certain situations, I would be very concerned about the guy who was not afraid to be seen or heard...

i.e. Baron von Riechhoffen, The "Red Baron"

"Oddball" (Kelly's Heroes), "We like to play music "real loud" when we go into battle...It kinda...Calms us down..."

"All the tanks we come up against are always bigger and better than ours...So all we can hope to do is "scare them"..."

etc etc etc... ;-)

oh no, he di-'int!!!!

I think building one was one of the most satisfying experiences I've had with firearms yet.......it's great fun. It's simple and can be done on a budget. No special tools are required to build the lower receiver and you have several caliber uppers you can choose from. Lets not forget you also have about 20 different lower receviers to choose from. You can start with a stripped lower for about $120ish and then build it from there. It's easiest to build a lower and buy a completed upper. Try it, you'll be hooked!!
Oh yes you did!

I've been talking to a co-worker of mine and he's into all the CMP matches and all that...

He told me that he's looking into building an AR that can use the .50 Beowolf upper...Now, if that doesn't require a special lower assembly, then that kind of intrigued me somewhat...

That may be in Steve's future sometime down the road...

I just went "old school" on my last purchase...

I know I can get back to the 21st century if I need to in a hurry...

No but I told he needs to highlight the number with a light colored crayon...

It might scare people more... "Devil Gun!"

Still, it is a very nice rifle...He did very well aquiring this hardware...

Now he has all the headaches and heartaches with all the accoupraments he is going to have to get...

Magazines magazines and mo magazines...

An optic package, flip up iron sights as a back up...A "sling" thing...

Thats about all I'd do to a model like this...

I also told him to keep his eyes peeled for those ammo deals...And that I'd go "Davy Crockett" with it, before I'd feed any of mine that "Wolf" ammo...But thats just my personal opinion...

He's going to have a lot of fun with that thing!!!
