I practice with what I carry...Plain and simple...50 rounds a month, minimum...
I practice the first shot, and not just blast the paper and see what kind of hole I can get in the middle...
But the best gun is also my most expensive to shoot...And it is hard to find a range that will let me do so at ranges I know I can deal with easily...
So that one is relegated to probably once or twice a year, at my private range I've built up that gives me the 850 yards I want to keep proficient...I'm working on backing up into the treeline and see if I can squeeze another 150 yards out of the lane I have...
