I'm not trying to dodge the issue, I simply cannot violate my duty as a Director. You will note that I haven't even responded to the anti-NRA comments and quotes as I normally would have done. Yes, this is a belt and suspenders approach, but I try to avoid even the hint of impropriety.
BTW, this duty isn’t unique to the NRA, members of any board of directors have the same limitations and restrictions.
Chas.
...but, in your capacity as a Board Member, could you perhaps arrange a way that Mr. Jackson & Mr. Nugent would have to take a long car trip somewhere together?......
...that should make things right pretty quick.

Not that I don't mind hearing anything from Charles about this and other issues...
I really don't need to on this particular "crisis", if you can call it that...
This statement was made by an individual who happens to have that right to make such a outrageous comment...
Now, that chore being out of the way, I will not be trashing my NRA membership, but I will certainly be sending a note to the NRA that this comment, and the asinine excuse for making it, as rediculous damage control...
This guy will be ostrasized, and cast out as soon as they can...
Like some have said, you can vote him out I suppose, and that would be fitting...
I'm just glad I know a few of the folks on the NRA board personally...They have fully deserved our support, and I will continue to do so...
But this guy is done as far as I am concerned...
