I was laughing about this at work today. It took about three weeks after I started before I was reminded to put the boilerplate in my emails, so I did. And, of course, there is a lot of similar boilerplate on our fax cover sheets. So, at about 2:00 this afternoon, the lawyer for my area came out of her office asking about a cover sheet. I was going to email a copy to her and she said no, she wanted one without the disclaimer. Her logis was that it makes no sense to put a non-disclosure disclaimer on a fax going from one state agency to another when it is a public record for both agencies anyway.

You get two guesses who pushed for the non-disclosure and legal disclaimers on most of our stuff. And the first one won't count.
